A very large one. I've got a 6'9 to 7'3ft'er and I find even large ones don't fit very well.... No one seems to consider the width of the horse growing as well as the length! So something which works on my 15.3 in the same make just looks like a mini skirt on my 17.3!
 
My horse takes 6'9 rugs and he wears a 4'11" Rhino sheet (they do slightly weird sizes!) Its a tiny bit big in that it slides back as I ride so id say would be prefect for a horse your size.
 
the ones with the clip on bit that goes round the chest ( possibly equisafety ? ) come up quite big and deep , the XL fitted my friends 17.3 who took a 7'3 rug, and my chunky 16.3 who took a 6'9 needed the L as XL swamped him.

to hijack the thread anyone know what size exercise sheet fits a 13.2 pony who takes a 5'3-5'6 rug ?!
 
Ive just bought the rambo newmarket competition sheet for my boy who wears 6'9 7'0 rugs in XL and fits nicely all round the mark todd fleece was to short in the 5ft :)
