I have a 12hh fat cob type pony and have just ordered him a new cub type saddle which has long billets. Anyone have a similar type of saddle with a similar build pony and could tell me what girth size they use?

Isn't this the same question as you posted last week under "pony girth help"? You need a short dressage girth.

Put the saddle on the pony when it arrives then use a tape measure to measure for a girth that reaches round both sides adequately far up the girth straps taking into consideration whether the pony is likely to lose/gain any weight or stay the same. If pony changes weight dramatically then just buy another girth. I have a few different girths to cater for my lot, always have one that fits :-)
