what size girths do your horses have?

Hemir has a 48" (which imo is too big for him!) and Motty has a 54" *i think*

so what are yours wearing?

and yes a very randoma nd possibly very stupid post but i'm bored

pickle is in a 54"/56" at the moment but will probably go up a bit in the summer as he tends to loose weight over the winter. Take into account he is 17hh though!

Well we have 4 girths, 1 at 24", 2 at 26" and 1 at 28"!!!! Before u say thats stupidily short, there all dressage style ones, i don't have really little ponies!

2 of mine have 48inch girths (1 is 16.2 TB x, and the other a 15.1 H/W cob) and my welsh D x has a 56inch girth atm!!! Absolutly shocking i know, but he's losing weight slowly!

well buster dressage saddle takes a 48" but his jumping one needs a 52" as it has shorter girth straps!

11.2 Welsh A- Not quite sure on normal girth but a dressage girth he wears with a cub saddle was to loose on a 15.3hh TBxWelsh!!
I think he needs to loose a bit of weight!

i think i can beat all of you, my 16.2 1/2hh TB (with quite a big build IMO) wears a 40" girth 2/3 holes from the top both sides!

admitedly thats with a thorowgood hi wither saddle which has the worlds longest girth straps, and shes dropped lots of weight in the last few weeks..
