What size horse do you under 5'4" ride?

Produce 148cm ponies but compete all sizes. Have Grade A's between 15.3hh and 17.1hh....would rather jump the smaller or rather shorter striding ones first if I have horses in the same class. Would say I like about 16.0hh / 16.1hh best but also have loads of fun on the 15.0hh - you get the best of both Worlds on a pony horse!

I'm 5' 3" and ride at RS and friends horses. Anything from 14.2 to 16.3. I ally don't mind but if I was to buy my own then would probably look about 15hh.

I'm 4'11 and have 12.1 my first pony now retired and a 16.1 friesian and 16.2 tb and I don't think I look to small friesian and me in my pic

I'm 5'1 and fairly light. My own two horses are 14.3hh and 15.3hh. I work on a yard and ride everything from 11.2hh to 17.2hh but prefer smaller horses/ponies :)

5 ft 4, feel comfortable on horses between 14-2 to 15hh, have sat on horses up to 15.3 but 14hh ponies have taken up my leg very well.

5'4 and i have a 14.2, a 15hh and still ride a 13.2 when i get the chance - ponies are the funnest!! Last yr i was riding a 12.2 section c for a friend.

I'm 5'1 and have a 16.2 sometimes I feel like a pea on a drum but i feel completely safe and trust her :) Also my sisters have a 11.2 pony which I occasionally ride!

I'm 5 '2" and ride quite a variety - but for me it really depends on the build rather than the height. For example I feel much more comfortable on a 16.2 ex-racer that I ride, than on the 15h cob I also sometimes ride.

Not only do my little legs feel more effective on a narrower type, but also more comfortable (getting old - it's me hips!!)

I am 5ft. Last season I had a 12.3, before I had a 15h HW cob and have ridden a 17h hunter as well. As long as they are sane and I can climb aboard I don't mind giving them a try but 14h is about the right size for me.

I am 5'3" and have a 16hh and growing 3 yr old. But I do have very long legs for my height and look big on anything under 15.2hh that isn't built like a tank!
