What size nappies should I buy to put over a dry poultice - in order to the turn the lad out, who is going stir crazy?

He's been in for two days, but really has had enough and i've got to put him out tomorrow. He will have a dry poultice on, then nappy padding, plastic, duct tape etc. and out.

But would like to protect the foot as much as possible.

Depends on the size of foot. I was told new born but they only covered half his foot, so I think I ended up with 6 - 18 months, pretty sure it was two sizes up from new born anyway.

On a 16hh with fairly small feet the newborn were a perfect fit. So either newborn or the next one up I would say

Try Little Swimmers.. really easy to secure.

Hope you're sorted by now AmyMay, but if not, I bought newborn for a 15.3 TB and they were tiny. Would def suggest a couple of sizes up.

Good luck

Fiona

I use size 4's on little TB feet (asda ones were quite good (but not the smartprice ones - they weren't as absorbent and had plastic backing which made the heels sweat!!)

For slightly bigger feet i used size 5s

Not a clue what age they are - never had the need to know such details!!

I use newborn on my 16hh horse to ride in as he has a permanently infected hoof to keep it dry. Bigger ones come off easier and the tighter the fit the better. He does not have small feet.
