What size of rug?

Can anyone tell me what size of stable rug to buy for a 13,2 N.F pony? Thanks.

You need to measure from the middle of the chest to where a rug would finish.

Five foot six would be my guess but depends on whether fine or chunky, good luck rug shopping is all about luck!

You should measure and not guess...an ill fitting rug can cause all sorts of problems and injuries.

I would say. 5"6. But could be 5"3. Try someone's. First. But be aware different. Makes fit dif horses

My 15 hand horse is 5 6 so does depend on the build of the horse

Obviously best to measure but I have 12.2hh stocky build, 13.3hh and 14.1hh NF and they are in rug sizes 5', 5'6 and 5'9 respectively. Depending on build I would say 5'6 but you might get away with 5'3 on a fine pony but rug brands vary as well, so even if you measure your pony it might not be the perfect fit.
