What size silk for a 57cm hat?

Hello All. My DiL has a new helmet for which she has requested a velvet silk for best. Racesafe do one in sizes small, medium or large but there is no indication of corresponding hat sizes. Can anyone tell me what size to buy please as I don’t want it pinging off because it is too small or falling off because it is too big. Thank you. X

You would have thought so as hats are now one size with the linings influencing fit but no. Racesafe velvet silks come in three sizes and I was going to buy medium for DiL before QueenBella sent me a size chart which depicts she needs a large.
