What sized bum for a 16.5 inch saddle?

Random question.....in an ideal world my cob would like a short as possible saddle . I therefore need to attempt to shrink my bottom and thighs. Just wondering what sized riders ride in 16.5 and 16 inch saddles. I'm 5ft 4 and have short legs!

I have just bought Herbs a new saddle. It's a saddle company WH pony saddle. It's only 16" Luckly it has a fairly flat cantle so my bum fits in. I'm 5ft2ish and weigh around 9st. I have a small body with longer legs.
This is me in Herbies old 16 - 16 1/2" thorogood pony club saddle.

I do. My 14.2 did have 17.5" saddles but when I stopped competing her I sold them & went back to the 16.5" jefferies gp I had on her as a teen. I'm 5'10 & nearly all legs, I weigh 9stone. I ride very very long though so its not an issue about the saddle flaps. If I jump knees go in front of saddleflaps but I jump very short & don't care what I look like cos only jump her at home really & very odd shows. It is worth pointing out though that different makes have different size seats, I've ridden in 15" saddles I've had plenty of room in & some 16.5" that are only just right.

I'm 5'4 and weight just under 9 stone (8 according to hospital scales but it sounded too good to be true lol) and I fit into a 16inch again as LW says above its quite flat so more room for.the bum but it does mean you nerd a reasonably independent seat
