What stallion for an advanced event mare?

Up With The Lark is gorgeous. Proven breeding and a better jump than Weston Justice.

Their BE records would say otherwise....

Having seen them both jump, would prefer Up With the Lark who also had two Advanced parents. (one may have been better ridden than the other..)

In your opinion- that's fine

The dam's sj record is poorthough I agree Welton Apollo was a very decent eventer himself. And Up With The Lark has not gone advanced himself.
Imo there's a big difference between a good intermediate horse and a proper advanced horse.

I would have to agree with Boss on this....Up With the Lark IMO whilst a lovely looking stallion who started off with a lot of promise, is just not a comparison to Weston Justice who is a very proven Advanced eventer.

Up with the larks mother was ridden by Sarah Taylor who rode on both the junior and young riders event teams so she is no mug at all and far better than the average rider.
Having personal experience of his mother though she was well ridden to the best of her abilities and SJ'ing was never her thing she just wasnt careful enough but that was ability not rider.
