What stirrup leathers?

Jaguar, or Amerigo non-stretch. Lush, and small holes, Albion would be my third choice, Passier 4th, a much cheaper alternative.

I have a pair of calfskin leathers with nylon lining to prevent stretching, they are lovely!

Not Jeffries. I witnessed my friend's snapping at the buckle (the metal broke!), they were lless than 6 months old, and had been well looked after in that time. She was lucky not to have a nasty accident. Jeffries weren't particularly helpful when she complained, and it took alot of emails back and forth before they sent her a replacement pair. They never apologised, and to this day imply it was my friend's fault they broke. How can it be when the metal buckle broke in 2 after under 6 months of use???

ETA I like Passier with the nylon running through between the leather.

Amerigo a bit out of my price range and not keen on the crinkly look of passier.

Think I will go for jaguar if no one has anything bad to say?

I have the Premier Leathers http://www.bettersaddles.co.uk/acatalog/Stirrup_Leathers.html I've had them about 6 years now and I love them, I also have the springer stirrups too.

Passier ones are really good, don't stretch at all... quite pricey, but my old ones stretched so quickly that you actually save by buying good ones.... Jaguar opposed to be good too though.

I got jaguar to go with sprenger stirrups. I love both but the jaguar metal tag on one of them has come off leaving an unsightly hole and they had not had much use by then. That said I do like them.
