whent up to ben today and hes got a kick mark on his side and a bite on his neck but on his bum i found this! no idear what it is thought a bite possibly

its on top of his rump and there a bump was told one of ponies likes to rear up and land on back kinda like mounting could it be a kick or bite?

It looks like either a kick or bite, hard enough to scrape the hair off, but not hard enough to break the skin.
I imagine he'll be bruised so may be a bit sore there, too.

Could be any of the things you suggest. Looks like his furs been 'scraped' off possible by a hoof. My gelding was a rough player and regulary came in with chunks of fur missing.

Looks like a kick that has not broken the skin, to me. However the aliens do need to be considered.
