it's not photoshopped, it's a pic out of his videos/tv shows.

back when i used to watch parelli on the telly he had one episode where he was jumping the foal, the mother was stood back watching. he said it showed how much the mare trusted him for him to be able to take the foal away and do this and also it taught the foal early on what the sticks were!

sorry going to be radical here and say that it's not a bad idea - showing youngstock things that may be spooky later on lin life - also it has no headcollar on so if it was in anyway upset I am sure he would not be calmly stood over it? Just my view on looking at the photo? Not sure if I could get my boy to do that in his head collar let alone without one :o

I do think that every genre in horsemanship has its pro's and con's and we do not have to use all the information/ideas just what we feel comfortable with and what works for us and our horses - makes sence to me :D

Not trying to be in anyway argumentative just commenting on the picture

Well it's certainly different.

I'm sure no harm was intended, perhaps some logical reason behind it, guess you had to be there to understand what ever he was demonstrating.

But happened to letting foals be foals, is there really any need to interfere with a foal at that age, peronally I think that's human kind medaling with nature too soon just to prove a point.

I agree - seeing a foal being used like that makes me feel uneasy.

Al food for thought eh - quite like a good sensible discussion it brings other peoples thoughts and opinions into play and raises awareness too of things you have never seen or thought of.

:D
