Don't their shoes last forever?
Do you go up every day?
Do you go up every day?
Regularly get this! The "every day, even on Christmas day?" one is the one I get the most
And you wonder how he became a boss in the first place... right??until I discovered he didn't know hooves grew, and thought the horse was going to have to be put to sleep.
I've been thinking we could explain it as "would you buy a bike and then only ride it round your garden? you'd get bored very quickly"Our offices are on a country lane popular with riders. A colleague often says and mentioned it again this morning. "Why do horses go on roads? Why can't they stay in fields and not go on the roads? Surely they prefer to stay in fields riding around. it must hurt their feet?"
Forever trying to explain it. If only we had that many bridleways we didn't have to touch a road or country lane it would be ideal.. (not in my area anyway!)
HA!! PMSL at that one!A
A friend's brother rang her up very exited about the herd of zebras in a field near him, she told him that they would be horses wearing fly rugs but he wouldn't have it - they were definately zebras! He did ring back a few days later to say that she was right & they were horses
Yes I get that too.The "every day, even on Christmas day?" one is the one I get the most. After that it is the still needing lessons one.
Sometimes I get why doesn't yours have shoes.Regularly get this!
"New shoes every 7 weeks? can't they last longer, why not 6 months?"
Dont! Someone on grass livery with 2 horses in different fields has gone away for 2 weeks. Message in the yard group chat 'If you see anything wrong we are 8 hours behind, but if you need to call a vet do.'You could leave your horse and go on holiday if you put enough hay in the field to last the week.
Yes I knew of someone years ago who had a horse and a pony and left them with a big bale of hay and a note to the neighbours and sloped off on holiday for a week .Dont! Apparently this is fine. The mind boggles.
