Oh no this'll get reported in the daily mail and we'll all start getting stopped and told "its the law". Arghhhhhhhhhh what is happening in this country.

I was banned from riding on a pavement, rather than a busy road (100 yard stretch to reach a bridle path) because Donkey pooed and they complained to YO

I have seen people pull up and jump out and shovel it up into bags for their garden!

You are not allowed to ride on the pavement though, sorry, that's not the point here.

did you read about my fight with my neighbour yesterday? most loved having the horse at home and some asked for his poo, no, not one neighbour, hurled abuse and me and TRIED to wheelspin in front of my horse, stupid stupid cow. i am still livid now (can you tell?) it was on the road too not even on the pavement, i guess living in one of our small terraced houses is proof that she must be wealthy enough actually own our road???sorry, rant over.

I keep getting this from people I work with in my non-horsey office. For gods sake, haven't they got anything better to do with their time than moan about trivial things? Lets face it, once a pony poo has been squashed once by a passing car it kind of disappears anyway. I think this is a sign of townies infiltrating more to the countryside - they don't understand that a bit of mud or muck on the road is part of rural living! Get over it!!!!

thats just silly! There's always rubbish and broken glass on the roads, surely thats far more likely to cause an accident and more unsightly!?

I want to know how they'll prove which poo belongs to which yard.

Good point - they'd have to employ a council 'poo partol' to slap a fine on 'offenders'
