What time do you do you horses

I often don't go until about 9.30am,but he's used to it & someone feeds him & put a fresh haynet up 1st thing so he's ok until I get there later.

To be fair, mine gets a haynet from YO at 7 each morning so is always munching away until I get there :)

8.30 in the week and usually around 10.30 at weekends, but he gets his breakfast about 8 from someone at the yard who feeds them all

Mine go out at 5.45am during week and come in at 5-6pm! At weekend, the latest I will get down is 8.30 but aim for 7.30 -8am as I hate the idea of them waiting and hungry! They then come in around 5pm. I have been on yards before where owners don't arrive until 11am or even later! We have a 9.30 rule in our contract but everyone is always down before then!

Mine live out. About 9 in the week, up to about 12 at the weekend, there isn't really a routine. Occasionally I even sleep past then and wake up in a guilty flurry, but they have grass and water. If I've been down late I make my evening visit later too. I do know a few people who only do theirs once a day but I couldn't do that in case of injury etc I'd feel super bad! Also days like this my girl has a HW on at night and is having a nice rug off day today as it is sunny.

I actually don't think it is very good for animals to have a strict routine where they wait at the gate to come in and expect to be out at set times etc, the problem is other horses as my horse would go berserk at being the last one in or out on a yard.

Out at about 9am in at 4:30 (later and later when its getting lighter) and feed, leave to rest for a few hours and hay at about 6 or 7. Check at 11 and top up if needed.

Depends what shift I'm on and how tired I am (sometimes don't get in from work until after midnight). Sometimes pony goes out when I'm on my way home from my night shift so he's out for 7am, however if I 've been on a late shift and finished after midnight then he goes out about 9:30. He's calm and isn't bothered if others are turned out around him, he would happily stay in all day and doze.

I work blocks of 4 shifts so he is turned out/brought in the same time for 4-7 days in a row before my shift changes again and then the times will alter.

I know it's important to have a routine with them time wise but a few hours difference day to day seems fine with him - it's been like that for 6 months and he's not complained yet!

Oh and I turned off my alarm last weekend instead of snoozing it so he got turned out at 11am ooopppps! Needless to say he was still alive when I got there and not mentally scarred from the experience :p

Mon - Fri 6am, evenings 5.15
Sat & Sun between 6 and 7am. Evenings 5/5.15

I must admit I do agree with this but set working hours means there isn't a huge amount of leniency on times - certainly being flexible is much more difficult during the winter. It is easier to be less strict in the summer when they are living out and daylight etc is less of an issue.

Turn out at 7.30am, bring in at 8.15 pm, quick skip out at 11.30 pm (mine are kept at home), and that quick nighttime skip out saves a fortune on bedding :)

Lives out 24/7 - I go AM and PM to check/feed her, usually 10am and 4pm. But when the mornings get light again I'll be going before uni, probably 6-7am.

We arrive between 6.30 and 7.30 am when most of the horses are being fed and turned out.
Yard rules state all horses must be done by 9am, which is fine because everyone is pretty reliable.

I agree abit too, mine is at teh same sort of times but never exact. My horses dont wait at the gate ever, partly because i don't have a gate and partly because they can hear if im in the stable..
