What time do you get to the Yard in the mornings?

He's on livery during the week so I don't go in the mornings, but at the wknds I get there for 8.30-9 in the winter when he is in so that I can get him mucked out early. He is fed 7 days a week though so I'm not altering his routine

My alarm goes off at 5.10am I am there for half past and my trainer is usullay already riding in the indoor, I completely muck out my 2 soak nets do feeds, turn out and leave by 6.45, I'm at work for 7.30 so I can leave at 4 to ring in and ride.

In oz I do't start work till 7 and have no horses to do wooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!
 
during the week i get up at 6am, walk dog then off to yard at 6.45am (takes 5/10 mins).. usually i am first one there but there is always 2 of the other liveries there at the same time as me.. muck out, turn ned out and get stuff ready to bring him in at lunchtime (winter only) as i work 5 mins up road from yard.. back there at about 5.15pm to ride, during the winter i am the only one there at that time...

don't really mind tho, as it means i get the school to myself.. weekends i let myself have a lie in and go up about 8/8.30am..

Know how you feel, i am at yard for 5.45am and gone by 7am with 3 to turn out and muck out, and then very rarely get up there before 7pm in the eve, ride, put to bed and leave by 9.30ish.

Definitely roll on summer!

We are about 12 miles from Selby, down the Market Weighton road, so we join the A19 at Escrick, coming in down the back roads but it is still a bit of a nightmare!
Haxby is a bit of a pain to get to because of the lovely ringroad. We are in Acomb so it's not too bad. Good luck and keeping wishes for those long sunny summer evenings (& mornings!). x
 
At the moment we have moved fields so have to cross a busy road and have crossing times to stick to. The only one in the morning I can make is 6.45 so I get there at 6-6.15ish so I can muck Osc out etc and take him for a little walk while hes on box rest. I then turn out my mates horse for her and then she takes oscar for a little walk when she gets hers in in the afternoon as a returned favour. I normally leave about 7ish.
 
Blimey you lot are a bit keen. I get there at about 8.30 after I've done the school run, They get ridden or turned out then, then come in at 3.30 - 4ish in the evening. Home by 5pm or thereabouts at the moment, far too dark & cold to be anywhere but by the fire

I'm up the yard by 5:30 and I'm usually the 3rd/4th person up!! I do everything: ride, MO, TO, haynets, feed etc and then i have a lady who brings him in for me. At the weekend I give myself a lie in and get up there for between 8-9! Although I do get serious guilt about that because its a change in his 'normal' routine and he doesnt know its the weekend - but then I just hit snooze and everything feels better

One of my DIY is at the yard at 4.45 and left by 6ish to get to work for 7 then she is finish and back on the yard by 4.45 in the afternoon

Saying that is Nov Dec Jan and Feb I turn them out and get them in for her so there not out for hours pulling there shoes off etc

My mum going to bed at about 1 in the morning so there is not many hours when there is not someone about on the yard etc
 
Stop it you're all making me feel so guilty! She lives out so I drop my daughter at school first then go so don't get there until about 9 and luckily I don't have a 9am start at uni

about 4 in the after noon at my old yard btu at college my horse HAS to be done by 9. usually stroll down at about between 8.30 and 8.45- bung in a haynet water change rugs and skip out lol. if i get there '''early'' i full muck out... luckily my new hrose is v clean...

In the winter I get there about 6.50 if I'm riding, 7.30 if he's having a day off. I do everything in the morning, he goes out and YO brings him in in the evening. I leave the yard about 8.30 to start work at 9am. I just go to work with hat hair, I can't bear to get up any earlier and go home before work! In the summer is much nicer as routine swaps over so all the work is done in the evening after work so he gets brought in for me in the morning and I can go muck out, TO, ride etc after work. Can't wait!
 
Mine are at home, so I get up around 7.45. Feed them and put them out for the day. Leave for work at about 8.30 and am home by 5.15 (I only live 15 mins from the office).

I ride and muck out in the evenings and am all finished by about 8 o clock.

Dont think I could face getting up any earlier! Dont know how you do it!
 
I am down the yard for 6.45am, muck out two, turn shetland out, re-rug my boy, hay, water etc etc and am still in work for 8am! Amazing how fast you can move when you have to!
 
Alarm goes off at 6, am on the yard by 6.05( horses at home!), we have two i muck one out and my mum mucks out one, then we ride turn out and sweep the yard, were in and ready for work at 9(we work form home too),
 
I unfortunatley don't get to do my horses in the morning, unless for some reason one is ill etc then i go about 6 on my way to work as i start at 7.00. So my lovely paretns take it in turns to do them in a morn, if dad does on way to work he gets there about 8 and mom about 9-9.30 (she's not a morning person!) But it's only to feed/hay/remove/change rugs, they live out all year. Weekends i get there between 8-8.30 in winter and 7-8 in summer. Sundays are a bit of a pain because i stay at my OH and can't the bugger out of bed!!!!! Wish i could do them in a morn too but i work 7-15 so i can do/have time with them in an afternoon, i only have a field with no lights or water so i could work any later than that and can't afford/want livery!
 
I go down to the yard around 7.15 to 7.30 and turn out, muck out etc. The YO brings him in for me, so if I'm not riding after work, i leave his feed etc in stable so i don't have to go down again. I just couldn't face mucking out after work, rather get it over and do with in the morning. At weekends i'm down around 8.30ish.

) I start at 7.00, finish around 12, depending on whats going on and back for evening stables at 630 or so. Infact I better get there now!
 
i get down at 7.30- have to ride one, turn bth out, muck both out, etc before i go to work. dont start at a set time tho- on monday i started work at 10, tues 9, today 10.15 and tomorrow 11.
 
I go at 7.35 after I've dropped eldest daughter into the village for her school bus. I'm usually first so I feed everyone and then muck out etc my daughter's pony. Then I go home and get other daughter ready for school and once her bus has collected her I go to work. While I'm at work the YM turns my pony out and gets him in again later on. I go back to the yard at 5pm with elder daughter so she can ride and muck out again!
 
I get to the yard at 6.30, I feed him while I'm changing his rugs and skip out his stable, then turn out which is across a busy main road so the early the better, then I give him some hay out and walk back to the yard trying not to get run over and finish his stable so its ready for the evening, make feeds and do hay and water. I only muck out properly at the weekend or my rota day off as during the week and every other weekend I have to be at work for 7.30 so leave the yard at 7.10 and finish work at 4.30. Wish I was one of the lucky that started work at 9, then atleast I could ride in the morning during the week. Sad fact of working with horses.
 
i go up @ 6:30 mon-fri with my dad before work then @ 7:30/7:45 on weekends dep on if ive arranged to hack with anyone if not i go up super early. but i do a weeks worth of nets & feeds on a sunday so i have as little to do on a morning!

in the mornings i muck (skip) out - deep litter weekly, fill water bucket & nut ball while dad turns the horse out. In the evening i wet the haynet & feed before putting in the stable & getting headcollar to get him in
 
I get up at 5.30am to get ready for work, breakfast, drive to yard. Usually there by 6.20am. Takes me just over an hour to feed, haylage, muck out, change rugs. YO turns them out later and brings them in around 4pm. I change at the yard and go straight to work. usually in work by 7.45 am, take half hour lunch and leave 4.30/4.45 pm and get to yard by 5pm. Ride, skip out, feed etc evenings.
 
I get to my friend's house where I keep my horse at about 6.20am. Feed, muck out,change rugs, fill haynets, turnout both mine and her horses. I leave there at about 7.00am then home for shower and brekkie and leave for work at 7.50am.
My friend brings them in at night for me although I always go and check him and give him a goodnight cuddle!
I am lucky as I do have electricity and a stereo system in the stable so I muck out while listening to Sarah Kennedy!
 
I live quite a long way from my yard and have to drop my daughter off at school first so I don't get there until 9.15 ish.
Halfpass or her OH are at the yard early so one of them feeds him for me and he always has loads of hay left anyway.

I'd love to get there earlier as I find it makes a big difference to the state of his bed!

I start work at 7am so going in the morning isn't really an option. I have 2 stables and I make the 'day' one ready the night before and all they have to do is lead her fom one stable to another or chuck her out in a field. I don't think she really cares if it is me or my sister that does that.
