As I'm sat waiting to go back and put her evening rug on her majesty I was wondering what time other people fed/rugged up and whether they usually do it the same time.
I feed the old woman at 5.30/6pm with her tea and one of her Haynets then another at 7ish before I leave. Tonight since its been a nice day I'm heading back to put her heavier rug on about 9ish.
I do love living 2 mins away from her :)

Mine are brought in at 4 pm after I get the kids from school bring in change rugs and feed , has plenty of hay to last him all night ! He is always at the gate waiting for me anyway , he knows his routine well.

feed at 7.30am but about 10 on a sunday! they are staying naked now but would normally go back up to rug any time between 5.30 and 10 but 10 is normally when I've forgotten they are naked!

6pm in winter; 8pm now when I bring them in. I don't rug up though as it's too warm. Was still 17 degrees C at 8.15 when I finished off the yard. One unclipped TB and one fully clipped ISH.

They will be turned out as of next weekend which is about 5 weeks later than usual.

(They're at home; so can pop out if temperature drops below 10 degrees which is my cut off point for rugs.)

Temperatures are to drop quite drastically again throughout the uk over the weekend and in to next week !! We are expecting ground frost again , can't seem to get a good run at spring and can't see the evening rugs coming off within the next 2 weeks at least !

I put to bed about 8, horses have been unrugged but old chap is rugged tonight as we have SNOW forecast from the early hours (and no I am not joking, its forecast for most of next week) aghhhhh! However once the snow finally goes away my new field shelter will arrive and horses will be out 24x7, mainly unrugged all summer hurrah!!

The Donkey usually gets fed at about 4.30/5.00 p.m. . . . when he gets rugged depends on the season. If it's winter, I rug him before I leave . . . now that it's warmer, I leave him naked and an obliging fellow livery covers him up for me. He has mountains of hay/haylage to keep him amused/fed overnight.#

I've just got in. Normally between 8 and 11pm for me depending on commitments. Shove the escape artist into his stable, feed the cob, haylage out for the lot and a rug on the Fergster (he has virtually no coat having been clipped etc and it's due to rain tonight). Tonight it was lightish and lovely, so I poo picked and did some ground work with Fergles before shoving off home :)
