I understand the boy has got to get his beauty sleep :-) but it was my first thought this morning, yay it's hovis day :-)) guess I'll have to be patient xxx

I'm stupidly busy at work, but keep refreshing NL hoping that he's come on and posted!!

@horsey mad matt - Hovis is THE DESTROYER who writes a diary every Friday to regail us with his fabulous antics of the week. You can also buy a book now (released in June) of his diaries from 2008-2010 with proceeds going to Bransby Home of Rest for Horses: http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/news/397/306947.html

Horsey Mad Matt where have you been!!! Hovis is legend!

I wish the hairy hoofed one would hurry up so I can get on with this MOUNTAIN of work!!!

Lol

Bad news ladies and gents. Hovis has been taken ill this morning so I am down the yard with him and not near a laptop. Hopefully its nothing major and he'll be back and writing later :(

Oh no. hope he is ok?

Come on Hovis no time for being ill, you can't keep your fans waiting.

Man flu is it!!!!

Oh no hovis, hope you're feeling better very soon and your mummy is catering to your every hairy hoofed whim xxxx

Hovis? Ill? What is strong enough to down THE DESTROYER?

I hope Hovis is feeling better soon. Please keep us posted, I know my yard will be poised over various internet ready appliances for an update.

Hovis, try not to be too demanding, your mom is undoubtedly doing her best but she is not very big and as humans we have far more limited brain capacity than the average Destroyer so it may take her a while to do the tasks you want. I hope you feel better soon, love and carrots x

Update. I took him out for a hack and he didn't feel right - very sluggish and lethargic. About halfway round he suddenly started with a very poorly tummy and obviosuly wasn't happy so I walked him home.
He was uncomfortable in his tummy, was bloated and generally very "off". Between us we've kept an eye on him all day and he is pooing but very watery and loose.
He's a bit brighter tonight but still quieter than normal and duller eyed that usual.
Fingers crossed he'll be perkier in the morning.

Poor poor hovis, I know how much it hurts to have tummy ache. Hope he feels alot better tomorrow and sending him hugs xxxx

Is he a bit colicky do you think? We've had a lot of rain recently and the grass is growing like a hooley. I've been watching all of mine like a hawk. They are all piggies and I daren't leave them out on the grass for too long. Fingers, hooves and paws crossed he is feeling himself before too long.

:( Awwwwww....... Poor chap! :(

Hope you're feeling better soon. And don't forget - make sure those hoomins of yours keep you suitably warm and comfy overnight, and ready to update us all when you feel up to it. ;):)

Get well soon, big fella. :)

Poor Hovis...I really hope he feels better soon, nothing worse than when they are ill, especially with a poorly tummy. A good night's sleep, a good few f*rts and poops and he should be back to normal tomorrow. x
