very fortunate don't have open/close times - can go up whatever time - if go up very late try not to turn too many lights on an disturb all the horses!
Our yard opens about 8am, but the YOs will let you in earlier if needed. (they got up at 4am once to let someone in who was competing, AND helped her get her horse ready and loaded into the lorry!) There doesn't seem to be a closing time as such, but I think most people are done by 9pm anyway. It's pretty flexible really considering the YOs live on site - it must be quite disruptive for them sometimes.
i can come down whenever i like.
sometimes i ride before work so im down at 5.30 soa 9am yard would be pointless for me,.esp as i start work at 8.30!lol
I have had days when I have had to be at the yard by 4:30 am, and quite a number of times when Ive called in at midnight-1am to check horses on way home from a night out (when there has been a specific reason to check, i.e. horse off his feed a bit earlier on etc)
we have no real yard hours. however if we want to come up after 7.30 pm in the evening we have to ring to let the YO know we are coming up. can stay as long as we like though as long as we lock gates etc
We have no real set hours but ideally the YO likes everyone gone by 10pm. As for mornings, some arrive as early as 5.30-6.00am & there is no problem.
I have a key to the gates as sometimes we arrive back on the yard midnight time after a show.....I always let YO know when I leave for a show & if I expect to ber back very late... courtesy basically.
Not really any times on our yard. Although guard dogs go out after the last person leaves and they are in at 6.30am, if you want to go before then, need to let YO know so dogs can be put away.
