Hi,

Am looking for any ideas on what low sugar titbits, fruit and veg (if any) I can give him?

I'm trying to cut out as much sugar as I can but do still want to give him some fruit and veg and the occasional titbit,

Thanks

Nothing....give them a nice rub or tickle in their favourite spot. My fatty pony never gets titbits, he gets a nice scratch under his mane.

Brazil nut (vitamin e)
Dried rosehips
oranges

according to my horses.....yogurt covered dried banana chips are. NOT a treat though.....:p

Sugar sends my boy crazy so only low sugar treats for him!! We give him pretty much anything and everything (apart from onions, garlic, tomatoes and potatoes) things like cabbage leaves, brussel sprouts, cucumber, kale, swede/parsnip/carrot skins (skins have much less sugar!) anything green and leafy. Has even been known to eat lettuce, spinach, cauliflower broccoli.

He loves it and roots them to the side of the bowl and saves them for last!!
