On the usual hourly rate, I would pay £10 per hour for a helper, unqualified, to do poo picking and things which don’t involve working with the horses like washing buckets etc.
I’d pay more for someone who has some equine qualifications or professional groom experience, and would handle horses - groom, clip, rug, turnout, hold for farrier and vet etc. £15-25 probably, depending on responsibilities.
I’d pay even more for someone to ride and/ or for transport horses. £25- £35 per hour hour probably.
I’d expect insurance for anyone on site.
