We had a horse come to stay for a week while it's owner was on holiday and it looked quite like it might have worms, not too thin but just wormy looking. We normally poopick our fields but the fields used by this horse haven't been done. Our horses will rotate back onto those fields in the spring - I'm wondering what the best thing to do is?
Would it be better to poopick now (it's been a couple of weeks since the horse was here) or just leave it and harrow then let it rest over winter? Ours are treated for worms anyway but since they have low worm counts, I'm keen to keep it that way.
Any advice much appreciated!
