We're going to our first bsja show on the 18th May at keysoe. We've pre-entered online and were confused as what were suppose to do when we get there. Do we go declare we're there or de we just wait in line to go into our class. I'm entered in the clear round and british novice so do I need to be there as soon as the class starts because I don't have a clue what number I am? Thanks

If it's pre entry then the order is normally drawn the night before and published on website or fb, then you know roughly when you are on. At our local venues they put up a board with all the numbers in that order so you can see how it's going.
If you want to walk the course (not everyone does :)) then you need to be there at the start anyway.
Good luck.

Check with the secretary when the clear round closes - sometimes they shut it 15mins before the first class starts so they can change the course. Also best to check with the secretary how they are running the clear round - some will have your number on the list at the collecting to check off, others will give you a ticket to hand to the collecting ring steward.

If you want to walk the course then you will need to be there before the clear round starts.

If they do drawn order then it should be published the night before and you will know what time roughly you are on - if they don't do drawn order then you will need to go to the secretary and get your number from them. Then you will put your number on the board (as you would at an unaffiliated show).

Most shows will start a board for the first few classes, so you can put your number down in the slot you want to go when you arrive (or rather when the collecting ring steward arrives)

Each show/venue runs slightly differently, so if you have further queries then contact the secretary as they should be able to tell you more.

Were going to get there 45mins before clear round starts to get the pony settled as she's just turned four. I've checked Keysoe's website and I can't find any times so I'm assuming its not drawn order. So we'll head to the secretery on arrival.
Thank you so much for the extremely helpful reply!

Are you a bs member? If not, you will need to contact the Secretary to day for your day ticket for the British novice.
