What to do with left over Prascend?

I lost my old boy a few months ago. He'd been on Prascend for several years and now I have about 45 tablets left. Any ideas what to do with it? Not sure what the legalities are around POMs?

Sorry to hear of your loss. If you return it to your vets they will dispose of it appropriately for you

I took mine back to the vet and got a refund. Receptionist was a bit reluctant but the vet was fine. The practice does know me well.

I returned it to the vet. I expect your vet will take it even if it wasn't supplied through them.

It's also illegal to give it to someone else! Pom-v meds can only be prescribed for a specific animal/group of animals by a vet, and must be disposed of if no longer needed.

I gave mine to a friend who had a pony that needed it.

It might be illegal to give it to someone else but I donated figs - £500 worth - to a friend for free who had a horse with cushings. I couldn’t even face speaking to the vets at the time and tbh I’d still do the same thing again.
