Hi

positive help please. I have had a mini Shetland for 6 years. We got him
as a companion to my 14.2 cob at our family home. Life has taken an unexpected turn and I’m now divorced :( I have been managing (just) whilst trying to work full time but now he has become laminitic and I just dont know what to do. I do not have the time, energy or money to do this anymore. He is hard to handle and can’t be ridden so as cute as he is no one will want to loan him. Any ideas would be appreciated

sorry missed out that I no longer live in the big family home with a field but a tiny estate house

Don't despair!
Someone might be pleased to have him as a companion, especially to another laminitic so with similar needs
Have you tried asking your vet if they know anyone?
