What to do with rubber mat scraps

Friend asked me what she could do with her spare bits of mat, 30cm by mat length in size, all I could come up with was put them on you mounting block! Any ideas?

I've used offcuts as a chopping board for cutting carrots at the yard. Also useful for cutting to size and using to stop thigs banging against the wall. Definitely don't chuck them, they will be useful!

They’re good for putting over puddles or in areas that people walk across.

I have them round my ring feeders to stop the sheep from pulling out and wasting hay.

I put some on the mounting block and have another piece screwed to the wall for one horse who rubbed his teeth across the wall and was digging a groove in it. He then used the pimply rubber and saved the building. One bit wrapped around a gatepost to stop it from touch the electric rope. Possibilities are endless.
