This weekend I could do-

JAS novice class at Hartpury (guarenteed that we wont come anywhere) £22
Eventer day at Addington, 1.05 class (a bit little really but we lack ring practice and it would be good to do a dressage test) £30
Dressage at Addington. At £15/class I'm a little reluctant to do this, seeing as dressage is my least fave! Though this would prob be the best, education wise....

Or I could wait till the weekend after and do cheaper dressage or Hartpury BSJA.

I think I would be inclined to do the JAS or wait until the following weekend. Or both

Probably Jas this weekend as good education and you never know you might come somewhere (positive thinking) and then do a dressage test or 2 next w/e.

Eventer day without a doubt then you get to reward yourself for doing dressage! Its not all about jumping big you know!!

JAS is just setting fire to money at least eventer day gives you 2 things.

But £30 plus £4 first aid seems criminal to me for an unaff with pretty much no prize money......

You are right of course, I'm just trying to avoid doing any dressage!!

Well if you move to these posh areas of the country then what do you expect?

Are you reg BSJA? There are free tickets in this months Horse Mag.....

I wouldn't support the corrupt sport of JAS.

So I think you should do pure dressage

Eventer day !! Isnt Hartpury a fair old trek from you?
But you never know- I think you guys would do very well on the JAS...

Hartpury takes me about an hour and has the added bonus of being able to go and kiss my grey boy

Sadly my surname isnt Collet and my xc colours arent pink so I seem to always figure quite low down in the JAS rankings!!

Dressage or at the bare min eventers day. I wish we had eventers days near us. I can't be arsed with JAS which just feels like burning money so am off spending time with the OH this weekend and doing nothing horsey!

I too had the choice of the eventer day/dressage at Addington this weekend! I'm going for the dressage, as this is definately our weakest area and seeing as we only did our first walk/trot in November last year... I fear we have an awful lot of catching up to do before our first BE!

Yep, think I will prob do this.

Addington must be the least helpful people EVER though. Am seriously unimpressed!
