Over a year ago i sold my first pony, a 14'2, coloured mare, she went to a lovely home where she wod do PC and locial show, it wod be 'a home forever' as they said. The girl has now lost interest and they want to sell the mare, im scared il lose contact with her and want to by her back but i can only rase a couple of hunderd £ atm and thats nothing compared to an asking price of £5000 - no tack included (i only sold her for about £2500 with most of her rugs and tack)

Im gutted, I hav always regreted selling her but i now hav a chance to get her back but no god damn money!

Anyone got any ideas as to how to get round my problem?

x

Any chance of getting a loan to buy her back?

If not, how about trying to find someone to buy her yourself, that way you'd know where she was and that she was been looked after. Is anyone you know or a friend of a friend looking for a first pony? ask about it may work.

I sold my first pony to someone who told me thay'd look after him and I said I'd buy him back if they ever wanted to sell him, a year later I got a call from someone who'd bought him from the market and got my number from his vac card. He was a mess and I was gutted but we keep in touch with the new owners and he's doing good now.

Do all you can to keep in touch xxx

ps a while after all this I saw the person I'd sold him to at a show and punched her in the face...very wrong but made me feel a whole lot better!

Good for u witht the punching thing!!

Im goin to ask a friend tonite if they cod by her as they hav always said if they had the money they wod.

Playing abit of a waiting game for people to get back to me with wether they can help.

Thanks for the reply.x

Where abouts is she? We are looking for a coloured 14.2hh pony. You would be able to keep contact then.

Can you come to some arrangement with the owners? If you gave them what you have now and pay the rest in installments? You'd have to have some sort of contract drawn up. It would save them the cost of advertising and the worry of viewing and vetting.

Shes near Welshpool. I shall try and find their phone number, if i find it il PM you Irishcobs.

I was wondering about that, you don't know where i might find a similar contract do you?

Thanks eveyone!x
