My horse went over on his hoof in the school this afternoon when sharer was riding him. She has cold hosed him and the plan was to leave him in until I got there tonight to have a look at him. (He is lame on it).
Anyway, he has had other ideas and has been flinging himself about his stable so have told her to put him in the field. (He can be a bit strssy when no-one else is in). I know he won't go mad in the field. Would this be the right thing to do? I am guessing/hoping he has just bruised himself and with rest will be ok. I will get the vet when I get there tonight if I think he needs to see one.
