Hi all

I've got myself in a bit of a pickle..I decided it would be a good idea to get a another horse, which would be a ex racer as I've worked in racing for a number of years and love TB's. I also have a ISH and a family (7 month old and 2 year old). So as you can imagine I'm juggling like mad at the moment and yep I realise what a mistake I've made!

After some major bust up with my OH about amount of time I'm spending up the yard and so on, I decided to advertise the ex racer before I intented to. I put him on project horses and have had no replys at all. He's cheap and straight forward. He's been a star so far and has taken every thing in his stride. So why no calls? Some advice would be greatly welcomed! Sorry for the long post, thanks for reading

Regards the selling, we are only just out of xmas and there has been a bad recession as we all know and I think that simply has not helped the selling of alot of things, especially luxuries like horses.
Perhaps in the spring you will have more luck.

why no calls? cos he is a TB, and an ex racer!! and it january! and the weather is crap! and the economy is crap!Hold out, keep schooling ex racer and try to get some competition experience under his belt, spring will be here soon and market will hopefully pick up. for the time being its time management!!

What OCYC said! Don't panic, you should have more luck when it warms up. Although, how much are you asking for him? Depending on where you are in the country I wouldn't have thought he was worth much more than £800-£1000, much less up north. If that's about how much you have him up for he should sell eventually x
