Iv just seen a advert for a pony on our yard they have not mentioned the fact the pony is NOT safe to be left with young children hes booted out at me many times and biten and cornerd me in the stable they also have not mentioned that hes had a saddle on once this does not mean hes broken hes had no work since show season ended. There asking alot for a pony that isnt broken dont know about dam & sire and i dont mean to sound horible but nothing special hes got a attitude and has been past round that many times on loan he doesnt know who actually ownes him
But on the other hand i would love someone to come take him as current owners no nothing and i mean nothing they offered to tack my horse up while i went to set some jumps up when i came back they were wondering how toget the martingale to fit on the bit they also had taken 2 pairs of overreach boots and put them on each hoof.
i dont know what todo because hes being sold as a pack of lies and i know most horsey people would spot his behavior a mile of but the site hes advertised on has a lot of novice owners looking there as horses are cheap but he needs some one to spend one on one time with him i feel so sorry for him i would speak to the owners but there abit rough and idont want to cause any trouble for myself :/

i think all you can do is to keep out of it, or buy him yourself.

maybe at a push if someone comes up to view the pony and they seem nervous/novice then say aloud to a friend/another livery about how the pony did this or that. something like that but at the end of the day it has nothing to do with you. i know it's hard to stay out of it when you know they are lying (i've been in a similar situation) but you just have to hope that they can be spotted as lying for a sale.

Funny one, I should hope people would see what he is like and be put off, but some people migth see him as a challenge.
If you get asked by anyone having a look at him all you can do is tell the truth.

As for wearing over reach on each hoof, he may not need them but it doesn't mean it's wrong to wear four. My mare does as she has a habit of standing on her hind shoes as they are made over big to encourage wall growth and the over reach boot prevent her pulling them off the hinds as well as the fronts.

Stay totally out of it. Not your horse or your business. If any accident was to happen then you are in no way to blame or liable.
