So everything has gone down hill now, hunni is bucking more and yesterday me and a friend went on a hack(walk and trot) round the village, trotted up s road bank, she bucked, WALKED the road after it she attempted to rear and buck 2 or 3 times also throwing her butt out in the road threatening a car, now I didn't let her get away with it I tried smacking her, kicking her and growling at her and I finally gt her to stop about at end of road, I haven't been for canter or gallop in a field or on common in a long time :/ she is proving to be a little cow now! Had me off more times in a year than a friend who has had her horse in 2 years! If anyone walks past her paddock she puts her ears back, she has tried to kick me about 3 times(doesn't she half get a smack for it!) now we think it Is seasonal but it is partially naughtiness aswell, I think she may be a more experienced riders work, but I dont know what to do! Please help, I have tears jn my eyes right how..

Have you done all the basic checks (saddle fit etc...)?

If she passes all those - get a Vet to look at her and possibly get her overies scanned or try regumate if the Vet thinks that it is related to her seasons?

If it is seasonal then you could try her on hormonise, and I'd strongly recommend some lessons with a good instructor. I don't know Honey's history, but I assume all physical checks have been done and any pain issues ruled out? :)

Everything is checked, and she had a enlared follicle or her ovary but when she is out of season she is usually ok but now it's just naughtiness and she begging to get strong! X

First off- back and saddle? Always worth a check!

Secondly, if it is behavioural, I would look to get help either from an instructor or someone very knowledgeable, and take it right back to square one with general manners and schooling first, before you think about going for gallops or anything.

It's not nice when it gets scary like that, and I hope you find a solution.

Forgot to mention, tried marble, failed! She was on oestress that failed, tried stroppy mare, that failed, she is now on chasteberry ! But that making now different!

she sounds like a very unhappy horse, have you tried ignoring bad behavior completely and just rewarding good, just relax and enjoy her! If I tell my horses off they retaliate but if I ignore it they just give up

Yes, same as Goldenstar says have you tried it?
Also think its maybe time to get some professional help in.

She is generally a happy horse, in winter she is like a gelding! In summer she is like a witch! I can't put her on regumate because as it's very expensive and I couldnt risk it gettig into my system :( I try ignoring her and she just keeps going, her old owner said she never put a foot wrong, and don't get me wrong I'm not a speed demon, but it's to the point where trotting through a field is just buck buck buck! Thanks for replies hope i get some more :)

Regumate might be worth a try to rule out it being hormonal or behavioral. Probably no more expensive than getting in paid help. Just use disposable gloves, its easy enough to avoid getting it in your system.
