NO he does NOT! He is very masculine, and he doesn't do flamingos or unicorns. One of the mares has a flamingo rug, which suits her, but is too pink for him!
They both look very cute.
I would say to buy Alf a new patterned rug of his own, but the only nicer one i can think of is the Hedgehog one from a few years ago. Sadly the Hedgehog and Sheep patterns are very hard to find these days unless they are tiny sizes.
My boy is looking forward to wearing the Sheep rug i managed to buy him earlier in the year, but it's a medium weight so he'll have to wait till he gets clipped.
I think he should request itHe only likes the sheep one - there's something about the Fairisle effect that appeals to him.
Although they are hard to find in proper sizes, it's been brought to my attention that the owner of his sheep clad buddy has another brand new sheep rug in her possession...
He's very good with his rugs. The only damage to any of his rugs is the missing front strap on the rug he's wearing in the pic - and it was his mate who ripped it off (he has lots of form for rug destroying) when Alf lent it to him for a few daysBuy a sheep rug of course! How could you be so mean, it's every horses dream to wear a rug that the owner likes to look at too. (only to destroy it a week later and no Missy, I will NOT forgive!)
The cow is lovely, but it has buckle front straps, and I HATE them!Of course he should have one! He might like the cow one, and I think that's the highlander rather than the tempest, so more room for his masculine shoulders..
It's not mine! It belongs to a livery! He does look a bit embarrassed in the flamingo rug but he doesn't want to hurt your feelings
Get him one with collie dogs on ?
Hm well maybe he's not so much embarrassed as wondering what you have caught him doing. Certainly looks uneasyIt's not mine! It belongs to a livery!
I did once buy a pink turnout rug by accident. I called it the "pink rug of shame" and made him wear it when he was naughty! He wore it a lot
