Try and be brief.I am aged with a bad back.Husband in poor health with a couple of real crisis this year and I got very stressed.Got stressed with yard as well for reasons I don't want to go into and I have lost my long term instructor (poor health) who was a rock to me.Moved yards.
New yard is pleasant but not a conventional yard which I knew but thought would be OK. If I was younger it would be fine but I think I needs more help than this yard can give me.Horse well looked after and happy enough, YO pleasant. It has no indoor which I will feel in the winter as it gets cold up there.
Horse could go to Spanish trainer who I like a lot and trust a lot.He is on a yard with amazing facilities. The only downside is that I will have to drive through city centre to get there but I won't go every day.I feel very safe with this trainer ,something I value highly now.
The other alternatives are to find someone to compete here and enjoy this as the owner. She is a show quality cob and has nice paces.
Other alternative is to sell her and buy a big competition horse for another rider to compete for me.Just not quite ready to give up completely yet!

I think you know what to do. Go with the trainer you like. If on full livery there's no need to go everyday and you can spend time with your husband. AS someone whose husband has stage 4 blood cancer I'm grateful I have a horse I can ride as little or as often as I like. If I don't turn up his owner does him. It takes the strain off.
