For some strange reason me and the daughter thought it would be fun to do some workers at our county show! Pony has competed at this level before but not us. What should we expect? They are doing the NSPS 153cm and under class. Also do I need to wear anything special as I will be grooming for her? Thank you

Do you mean BSPS (for plaiteds) or NPS (for natives)?
BSPS heights are substantially bigger than native workers. If your pony is eligible there is normally a mixed height novice class which could be better for a first attempt.
At BSPS they don't always strip - depending on what it's a qualifier for.
County level can have huge variations but generally expect an up to height track, water tray, stile and maybe even a plastic cow!!
Good luck and enjoy! My daughter loved doing workers, if booted up for the jumping don't forget to remove for the flat part.
Which show are you doing?

One of the best days of my life when my niece won the BSPS Desert Orchid on my little American Pie! If your pony and rider can do a good cross country round he's got a big advantage. The only thing for grooming is I believe nowadays grooms should wear a riding hat?

BSPS is what I meant.:) As you can see a bit of a novice at this, usually event! Doing the Bath and West. Can't actually remember what class they are doing but it was the one for the least experienced so hope fully will be ok. We are doing a couple smaller shows before going and pony is usually really good at xc and is used to workers tracks so one of them knows what they are doing at least!
