hardly anything!!! mine got a small scoop of calm n condition mix!! a lot of people tell you to feed them the stud balancer etc etc but its too much in my opinion! mine is 3 now and has never been over weight and is in excellent condition!. i even rang dodson n horrell n they told me to feed 25grams of a balancer mix! ring them if your in doubt

Grass and nothing else at this time of year. Please don't use hard feeds or stud mixes at the moment or you risk joint problems.

As the others have said, nothing if possible! Hardy native type doesn't need any hard feed right now, unless she's stabled for whatever reason and you want her to have a little token feed when everything else gets fed.
Our native youngsters are out 24/7 on grass, with access to a mineral lick. No hard feed unless they're stabled for any reason (i.e. pre showing) when they get a small token feed of hi-fibre cubes and chaff, and obviously hay because they're not grazing.
