What to feed my 2 year old

Im with AA on this... technically from 2 years on the nutritional requirements are the same as an 'full grown/adult' so you should not need to look at -youngstock/growing mixes/balancers or the like.

there is a reason they call grass 'dr green' it will build him up and provide him with all the nutrition he needs to grow up into a healthy young horse.

If you feel you want to give him 'something' buy some chaff or hifi-light -I personally use a grass chaff, and give him a small handful when he comes in, but it really is not necessary.

Please don't feed him anything other than grass/hay! I had a made who had been neglected and then fed back up as a 3 yr old. That set her up for adverse reactions to all cereals and refined sugar, which made her very ill and affected her behaviour, she could be dangerously unpredictable. She spent most of her life as a companion, for safety.
