What to feed resting gundog

What biscuits would you recommend to feed a resting gundog. It would be ideal if my parsons could eat them as well. Most biscuits I've looked at give wheat or maize as their first main ingredient. Both dogs are quite sensitive as well. Thanks for any suggestions.

Assuming you want to feed less protein now the season has ended what have you been feeding until now?
Yes trying to find something low protein without lot of cereal. Most ingredients start with wheat or maize. She is on Dr John's titanium. Ideally looking for something little dog can have as well. OH chose Dr johns but looking at the ingredients it's not much better than others I've dismissed!! Did wonder about field and trial maintenance?

Check out the All About Dog food website, you can put in your budget and it will give you a breakdown of the best foods available and rate them in order of how good they are.

Either millies wolfheart or mole valley own grain free.
