what to feed with equitop myoplast

hi all. I need to start giving my Welsh sec d equitop myoplast (as discussed with my vet and physio) he was neglected by a previous owner and has muscle wastage leading to upward fixation of patella. he is living on grass and doesn't need any other feed. what would you recommend I feed him the supplement with that will be cheap and easy and not effect much else?

You may have to add a carrot to the FF - my chronic laminitic got fed up of it pretty quickly - I imagine it is the equivalent of us eatng mushy unsweetened weetabix

Thank you - just looked up Fast Fibre (I've only ever dealt with natives that never needed any extra so I'm not knowledgable on feeding) sounds perfect thanks.

I'm not sure that he will get fed up of it as he is not fussy! but I will bear it in mind if he starts turning his nose up at it

Any chaff should do the trick, alfalfa might be worth having a look at, higher protein and other good stuff than straw chaff so would help with muscle.
