What to feed with?

I'm swopping Buzz on to Allen and Page's Old faithful's special blend, and am unsure what to feed with it?? Hes currently on 16+, applechaff and bran, shall i just keep this the same but swopping out 16+ for A and P?
He also gets adlib hayledge/hay depinding on what he's eating at the time (he's just been put on soaked hay as he's gone off hayledge and has copd so cant have dry hay)
 
Yep - just keep the other stuff the same and swap the mixes.

Personally i wouldn't feed bran as it has little nutritional value; why not swap the chaff and bran for Alfa-A or similiar which is more nutritious especially as he is not eating the haylage anymore? If he looks ok however then you don't need to change anything. Why are you changing feeds?
 
What about fast fibre with old faithful instead of bran.Yo has her 19 yr old on calm and condition and fast fibre she looks great I also use it on my 7 yr old scatty tb.
 
I'd only change the mix for now, best to change a diet gradually. Once you have introduced the Old Faithful and given it a few weeks to see how he is on it, then if he is lacking condition you could think about changing the AppleChaff to AlfaA Oil which is high in calories and also gives them a lovely shine!

Is there a specific reason for feeding the bran?
 
H'e got clicky joints and comes out stiff quite alot, but 16+ is not doing alot of diffrence, he is a pain in the bum as wont touch any supplements, so going to give old faithfuls ago as i've heard its good and Slinky describing it as good enough to eat in a bowl with milk swung me

, Mabel98 he is on bran as my old boss was very old fasioned and fed everything bran in with there other feeds so its kinda stuck with me as i worked for her for 10 years. Condition wise he looks well and ready for winter
