What to feed...

What to feed my ultimate good doer who is still overweight (from when I brought him) and is now on box rest for 2 months and then still out of work for the next 2-4 months afterwards (thankx to colic surgery).

Currently gets a very very very small amount of soaked high fibre cubes with horse first keep me sound, global herbs super skratch, and little bit of garlic to hide the taste of the super skratch. Plus soaked hay and his salt lick.

Just interested to see what other people would feed him.

I would use either of these together with soaked meadow hay and possibly straw to keep him munching.

Pure feeds are excellent.
They do range for every type of horse.
Totally balanced and they deliver!

ive put my overweight veteran warmblood on pure fibre balance a couple of weeks ago and with more work he has lost a couple of inches on the girth already!

My young wb is on Pure Racing and i can hand on heart say its the best feed ive ever used for him
