What to get a new Puppy

My friend gets a new puppy on Saturday and as it's her birthday on Friday (tomorrow) I was going to get her something for the puppy, any suggestions on something a bit different?

Pets at home have a range of lovely soft puppy things, maybe a cuddly toy from there. They also have nice collars and leads. Or a little kong toy, they are always useful. what breed of pup is she getting?

Thanks, it's a ridgeback puppy, been at the breeders a bit longer as there were 2 left in the litter and they weren't happy with the people that were phoning enquiring about them.
They gifted the last male puppy to my friend and the last bitch puppy to another friend after they lost their ridgeback in a tragic accident very recently.
My friend already has 2, and the other friend lost her ridgeback on Monday.
Think they're about 12 weeks old at the moment.

Our dogs (7 yrd old lurcher & 2 yr old staffy lab x) absolutely love Planet Dog toys. They are always the most played with, esp the minty woof balls. They have a great range and we have found them to be really long-lasting, even with our two very determined chewers!

A kong with a home made puppy sitting voucher?

My mums ridgie puppy destroyed the nice soft puppy toys we got her. Perhaps a kong? Or tough teething toy?

Thanks, I'm already in line for house sitting the 3 of them, fortunately she's a behaviourist and run obedience classes otherwise I would probably be a bit worried about walking the 3 of them!!!!
