Hi,
Just wondering what i should give to my farrier and vet for christmas. Have had a year where they were both great, and here more than normal, would a bottle of brandy or something similiar be enough or has anybody got any suggestions please?

Thanks for the advice, sounds good as i have no idea what they like to drink, and in fairness to my vet, he knows i dont have much money as a single mum, so does all my work on his way home or in his free time and charges me a fraction of the cost, and the farrier knows me since i was a child, falling off at every oppertunity. My daughter's favourite game is playing horses, so i can never find a headcollar or leadrope. She has imaginary ponies, that she loads and unloads from the horsebox for hours, and when the farrier is there, she'll say, "Pat, i cant load the pony, can you help", and in fairness to him, he will down tools in the middle of shoeing to load an invisible pony with her, so should i be buying him a new jeep instead of a bottle, or what? (just joking, if he's getting a jeep, it'll be dingy). Cant afford a jeep, i share with my dad and sister, which gets interesting when we all want it to go in different directions.

Thanks again for the reply.

I do a "service" job and I can tell you it doesn't really matter what you give - a bottle of wine (3 for £10 in adsa) whatever - it's the gesture that really counts. When a customer acknowledges that you've gone the extra mile in any way - even just a nicely written card - it really counts!
