The only thing to remember, is a horse that is used to working may behave totally different if not worked. A lot of problems are caused by lack of exercise. I agree with getting a vetting, then start from scratch with back, teeth and all tack.

Thank you loads of good tips I'm making a list! It's been just hacking for a month or so hopefully it will be coming into more work than its in. Will make sure that the hooves are good and tell her to get a vetting if she does go ahead too.
