My mare has a bit on her nose
Despite being lathered in suncream, what shall I put on it??
What to put on sunburn?

Aloe Vera gel is good as well. Especially if it's slightly chilled

Sudocrem! Have you tried the Soltan kids factor 50 suncream? Waterproof and contains and insect repellant - never had any problems since I started using that.

Aole vera gel. Are you sure it is sunburn and not a buttercup reaction?

I second this!!
My mare had what i thought was sunburn a couple of years ago but it got worse no matter how much suncream I was applying. I got the vet out who said it was a reaction to the buttercups that were in her field ( may I add there was'nt a lot just a few 'tufts'). Once I moved her fields it started to clear up.
But Aloe vera gel works wonders on both xx.
