What to say when asked tell me about the pony

I have three ponies i wish to go on loan.
I had two people ring and they asked what i could tell them about the ponies.
I told them what they were what they would be good for etc but just did not know what to say.
Both said they would ring to come and see them but they didn't.
I do know it was me that put them off.
What should i say?
They are two shetlands and a 14hh 25 year old.

If i was to ring to enquire about a horse, The questions i'd usually like to know are - A little about their competition history if any, hunting history if any, Clean legged? Straight mover? Any scars or blemishes. Any vices or bad habits, How good it is to shoe/box/catch/clip/hack. Reason for sale/loan, Temperment , rider level ect.. And if i was to advertise, if im asked 'can you tell me a little bit about him' i answer with what would you like to know!

You could tell them:
-how old they are/sex/colour/height
-how long you have owned them
-what you have done with them/ their background
-temperament
-good to box, shoe, slip, hack alone/in company/ traffic etc.

You could also ask them if they have any questions/ what they are looking for in a pony?This will help you see if your ponies matche them/they match your ponies.

How thick of me not too ask what they would like to know.
They are just for lead rein, not show quality at all but one would do local shows for games etc. I explained this and they said it was what they wanted. I did ask what they were looking for as they are all purly for the beginer with no show history etc.
The 14hh has evented but they were not after him.
I am not a people person and they caught me in a rush on the hop and i just don't know what to say.
I was very honest, all have had laminitis in their previous loan home which may not have helped, but i would rather tell people all the bad bits.
I may write something down or find a different person to talk

I always respond to that question by asking what they want to know.
