I am going to be showing at only local level with a WPB Dun 11hh yearling colt, not at all coltish!
Class he will be doing over the rest of the year are classes like, riding horse/pony, coloureds, youngstock, partbred.

But what do i wear!!

I have been told a few things and i have been wearing with the last 3 ponies ive shown, black trousers, black joddy boots, black waistcoat, white shirt and a coloured tie to match pony, Its been fine, judges have not said nothing and the horses ive shown placed x2 1st, 2nd, 4th and x2 6th

is this ok?

as long as you are clean, tidy and smart and compliment your pony then what you have is fine. personally i would wear a nice tweed jacket, with shirt and tie instead of the waistcoat. the class SHOULD be about judging the pony not the handler. As long as the overall picture is good you will be fine. Good luck, enjoy your showing.
