I have a job interview in the morning at a private yard in Oxford, trouble is what the heck should i wear?

All previous yard jobs have been pretty simple, or i've known the people!

They haven't specified if it's likely to include riding either so i need an outfit that is prepared for every eventuality! How smart would i be expected to look?

I'm very nervous!

Its years since I did, but I always went for interviews for stable jobs in smart (coloured) jods, leather yard boots (cleaned) and a shirt (and tie??) with a jumper and clean coat if nec. I'd have chaps and hat in car just in case. I think practical but smart and tidy is the way forward. Make sure hair is tied back tidily.

Good luck.

I wouldn't stress! I can't image that they will be dressed up to the nine for your arrival. Casual but smart, clean boots & a smile ....Good luck :)

I work on an event yard and I wore smart jodhpurs and a top and a nice gillet and smart boots when i was interviewed. When we interview staff they usually come in jeans or jodphurs smart but casual but take your hat as they will probably want to see you ride.
Good Luck.
