What to wear to first hunt?

My OH is taking his horse to a hunt meet for the first time on Saturday. He has never been hunting before, he's got beige breeches and long black boots and a black show jacket. Does he need to wear a shirt and tie or does it need to be a stock? If its a tie does it matter what colour? He's very laid back about it all but i'm stressing as i don't want him to look out of place!!

He will probably freeze his butt off in a show jacket! Where abouts in the country is the hunt? Some areas are smarter than others. Anyway, it is a white stock with a black jacket...and good thermals!!

He probably will freeze to death but we are not getting him a hunt jacket if its just a one off! He's decided to go because the hunt are meeting at the stables where we keep the horses and he is only going to the meet to see if the horse behaves - there are a few from the yard going and they are only going for a short time until the hunt leaves the owners land.
Thanks for you help - i will tell him about the thermals!

How did he get on? TBH it was so mild here that he would have cooked in thermals!
