What to wear???

Hi all
I’m taking my yearling to an inhand show for foreign breeds next weekend, and I just thought I have no idea what to wear lol I was going to wear my black jacket and white legging but I am unsure.

My yearling "his name is Pluto by the way

" is bay with white socks. I am going to turn him out natural. It is only a small local show based in Essex area. Can anyone give me any advice on what colour jack and leggings I should wear if pos?

if it's being run as a sports horse class then you should wear white sweatshirt & trousers.

Horse should also be plaited, no matter what.

thanks for the heads up, my friends kept telling me to show him natural so I’m glad I got a second opinion,

I better polish up on my plating lol but he does look so adorable when his mane and tail is plated, but he gets into such a strop about it, Honestly its embracing lol

What breed is he and what class are you doing? This would denote whether you should be plated or not.

His breed is a lipizzaner and we are going in the youngstock class and the Foreign breed class. xx (inhand )

If he is lipizzaner I would guess that you wouldn't plait - or do they have running plaits?!! I am certainyl no expert on Lipizzaner's - but I wouldnt have thought you would plate them - it would be like plating a Welsh in an M&M class!

Nope you can do a running plait if you wish - but otherwise no.

Normally for inhand showing - trousers to complement the legs - so as lipi's are grey - dark trousers, shirt tie and hacking jacket.
